We had a fantastic stay at Rietfontein Ostrich Palace! Our hosts, Elmarie and Kobus, treated us like royalty. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the sherry in our room to the slab of dark chocolate on our bed. The food was incredible, and the breakfast was abundant and beautifully prepared. The location, though a bit remote, offered stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The old farm house where we stayed was comfortable and had a charming touch of bygone glory. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

The large comfortable bed with an electric blanket provided a restful night's sleep, and the seating area with complimentary drinks was a nice touch. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed, with a separate toilet room and a lovely bath and shower. We also appreciated the area for making tea and coffee, as well as the small fridge.

The cottages at Rietfontein Ostrich Palace are absolutely charming. They effortlessly blend modern comforts with traditional decor, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I instantly felt right at home and found it hard to leave the comfort of my room.

Personally, I found the bathroom a bit small, but hey, it didn't take away from the overall enjoyment.

The hotel is located in a peaceful area, perfect for relaxing near the refreshing swimming pool and enjoying the beautiful view of the hills. , its proximity to the restaurant was convenient for our family, especially with our baby. The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean, providing a good night's sleep. Breakfast was tasty, and the service was attentive.

If I had to ask for one thing to make our stay even better, it would be more options for young party-going people. While we had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying the activities available, it would have been awesome to have some more nightlife options or a designated area for young people to hang out and have fun.

Spent Easter weekend at a lovely hotel surrounded by beautiful mountains. The dinner was delicious and we were spoiled with fresh fruit salad and cereals for breakfast, as well as an array of perfectly cooked eggs. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and they offered a fascinating ostrich tour. They also drove me to a medical center when I arrived with an upset stomach, which was very kind.

The room was not in the main building but a few minutes’ drive away. Also, the WiFi connection was weak in certain areas, but it was a good excuse to disconnect and enjoy the scenery.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and furnished, with a special historical touch. The owners were friendly and interesting, making our stay enjoyable. The food, both dinner and breakfast, was marvelous. We wished we had more time to explore the area. The farm tour was a highlight, and the cottage we stayed in, "Emma's Cottage," had a lot of charm.
